Life Story - A Tribute to John Waite
The Life Story of John Waite is essentially based on Adrian Steenland´s and David Waite´s collected material.
With whose and John Waite´s permission I added lots of details. Unfortunately this Life Story will never be
complete unless John Waite himself would write it.
The question of Andreas Hoehn, a german journalist, who asked John Waite about the rumour to filming his life
answered John with a laugh. “Well, I hope they have enough film...”
I think this explains the reason for an incomplete chronicle. On the other hand I don´t know Mr. Waite personally. So my added knowledge is based on live interviews, interviews from different professional music magazines and letters he wrote Kevin Scott, with whom he cooperated between 1997 and 2000. (Kevin Scott was the publisher of the "No Brakes Fanzines") I never assert things without background informations. I merely pass on informations. In addition to that I´d like to emphasize that all the statements in the Life Story have been said within 30 years and John Waite has possibly changed his mind about this or that meanwhile. That applies to each other mentioned person, too. Furthermore I hope for your comprehension that I didn´t mention each and every cooperation Mr. Waite did with all these musicians throughout the years. There are many, and lots of that stuff isn´t released yet or released by other artists. So should there still be anything wrong with this Life Story, please let me know ! If so, I will correct or delete it immediately. I´m absolutely serious, but as mentioned I don´t know Mr. Waite himself. Maybe one day he will read this Life Story and maybe there is something that will make him say: “Hey! I´ve never said this!” In that case, John, I deeply apologize. It was never my intention to harm you. Just let me know what´s wrong and I will correct or delete it. Thank You Very Much!

With judgment of May 12th, 1998 -- 312 O 85/98 -- “Liability for Links” the Hamburg court of law (LG)
has decided contingently being jointly responsible for the content of added links.
According to the LG this can be prevented through expressly dissociation from that content.
